She Loves To Read

Our friends gave her a new book with short stories in it and she has
not put it down since I gave it to her after school.
I ran some errands with her and she just kept reading as we walked.
Here she is at bed time, she is sleepy, but unable to stop reading! A
true book worm. I love it.

Learning the books in the New Testament to get her badge in AWANA. It
was a piece of cake for her, she is a visual learner.

OPEN HOUSE AT SCHOOL

Today the parents get to go to school and observe what the Montessori
environment looks like. The kids are all working on something
different, some go from one activity to the next. Sofia showed me a
few things, vocabulary, blind folded feel of things, and oiling the
wooden animals. We have been thrilled with her Montessori school. We
hope to continue with Montessori for at least 3 more years. Right now
we are on three waiting lists for Montessori schools and one wait list
for a charter traditional school. I don't expect to send her to public
school. Keeping our fingers crossed!

why I'm a bit plump?? ;-)
